Resilient Innovations (Proprietary) Limited (“RI”), registration number 2023/938103/07, is a business continuity and disaster recovery service provider with its principal place of business at Building 5, Waterfall City Corporate Campus, 74 Waterfall Drive, Midrand, 2066.
This privacy statement applies to personal information that RI processes and outlines, among other things, what personal information we may collect about you and how we may use it.
We may change this privacy statement from time to time and will notify you of any changes where we are required to do so. The provision of your personal information is mandatory where required to provide you with products and services and you will not be able to continue using our products and services, should you object to providing us with such information.
When engaging us, we may collect and use personal information about you such as your:

- director and shareholding information;
- financial information;
- MAC/IP address; and
- Network and traffic information.
Certain personal information that we do not require, but that you voluntarily provide to us, will be used as part of enabling us to provide you with a product or service or attend to your request or query, to the extent necessary or as required by us, in accordance with the relevant data protection laws.
Failure to provide us with required information, may result in us being unable to provide you with products, services or attend to your request.
The personal information we process is usually provided to us directly by you, in the event we receive your information from third parties, we will inform you of such either directly or through an update of this policy.
In line with our legitimate interests; a contractual obligation; legal obligation; or your interests (as applicable), your personal information will be used for the following purposes:

billing and customer care;
sponsorship/funding opportunities;
to improve our services, often through use of analytics;

fraud detection and monitoring.
Your information is securely stored and while we cannot guarantee absolute security on the Internet, we have implemented appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures in order to safeguard your personal information, including appropriate access controls and use of trusted service providers.
We may also need to transfer your personal information outside of the Republic of South Africa where we elect to have the personal information that we collect hosted in systems or servers outside of the Republic of South Africa or where we require the personal information we collect to be processed by a service provider outside of the Republic of South Africa. In such instances we will fully comply with applicable data protection laws, including ensuring an adequate level of data protection for your personal information.
We may share you personal information with banking institutions for payment purposes; funders and sponsors, for funding and authorities upon request, in line with relevant legislation.
We make use of social networking services such as LinkedIn and YouTube and have hyperlinks to these social networking services on our website. These hyperlinks are for your ease of reference and convenience and are not operated by us. When you communicate with us through these services, that social networking service may collect, track and process your personal information for its own purposes, for which we will not be responsible for.
You may contact us to request access to the personal information that we hold about you, to correct any mistakes or to request deletion of the information we hold about you. You may also contact us to withdraw your consent of certain types of processing of your personal information.
